From walking in, it is not obvious what you're supposed to do. Do you order at the counter or wait to be seated? Was looked at by several gormless employees before our party of 9 was seated. Now from the time we sat down to the time the first meal showed up was 1 hour 5 mins and 1 hour 20 mins for the last one to show up. Being polite people and waiting for everyone to be served before eating, ensured that most people's meal were eaten cold. It's bacon and eggs for christsake- How tough can this be? No explanations were given as to why this took so long. Next time, I think Starbucks would be a way better call. The level of inefficiency was comical, providing some value I guess

The good things about chains is that you can usually count on the same level of quality and quantity. Bob Evans is no exception. Both my SO and I liked our breakfasts. My veggie omelet, hash browns and turkey sausage were very good. Coffee came in a small carafe and was a bit cool. Service was spot on, the place was clean and the prices quite fair.

This is our breakfast go-to place. Good, friendly service, managers always around asking us how we enjoyed our food and the food is average. Our last experience will not have us going back. We waited 10 minutes for drinks, the server was upset because she kept getting seated which we heard her complaint to management, our order wants right and the food was lack luster (we didn't finish it). Also, there were 2 spider egg sacs attached to the wood of the booth hanging over our seats. Gross!

Service was great but...my wheat blueberry banana pancakes were a little dry...ok but a little too flavorless. Mush breakfast was excellent EXCEPT eggs overdone. So ...-disappointing but still good.

Service took forever! Waitress was so good though! There is really a home style Midwest All-American diner feel when you go in! Great atmosphere and the shopping afterwards is cool too! I enjoyed my breakfast - three eggs with meat & toast & home fries and will most definitely return!

First off, let me say I'm not a frequenter of Bob Evans, mainly because I try to go to locally owned establishments mostly. I did happen to visit this particular Bob's after staying the night in Ann Arbor on a recent weekend getaway though, and in my opinion it's first rate. The manager and the employees were very friendly, helpful and communicative. The establishment was tidy, and all of our food was served up in a timely manner, hot and delicious. I don't know how any of the other Evans restaurants are, but this particular one is excellent, and should be held as the golden standard for all of the others.

Great food (just like grandma used to make) and perfect service! Couldn't ask for much better. Will definitely come back!

We had an email coupon for BOGO breakfasts at Bob Evans and since we were in the area we decided to give this location a try. It wasn't very busy at 11 am and we were seated right away. We ended up ordering a couple of Homesteads, my favorite, with coffee. The breakfast came out rather quickly and I got a sticky order of grits, while the wife got a tiny order of hash browns that kind of looked like what was left over from the morning rush. We mentioned the small amount of hash browns and after we were pretty much done with breakfast, the waiter came out with another tablespoon of hash browns on a small plate. I personally would have been embarrassed to bring that out. We only got one cup of coffee from our waiter and when we asked a different waitress for a refill, she brought out a whole pot, which every other table had even with just 1 cup of coffee. I don't know about you guys, but or almost $25 before tip, I expect a little more and better breakfast from Bob Evans. At my usual breakfast spot I get a similar breakfast with coffee for $4.11 and I most definitely don't have to search for the hash browns and the grits are terrific. With the meal and the service, or lack of, I can only go 2 stars, and I won't be back...

Wow! What a wonderful experience. Samuel was our waiter and did a fantastic job. The manager actually came over, asked us if everything was alright, 'yes', and asked if there was anything they could have improved on, 'no'. Believe me, would have spoken up after telling a nearby coney island we would never return last weekend. Incredible customer service. We will be back again and again. We live nearby and often have our grandson (1 year ) with us. Bob Evans was wonderful. Almost forgot, the food is consistently great and the fries were HOT AND FRESH !!! Listening Coney? Wonderful value for great food and friendly waiters. Wonderful to have a manager in the restaurant.

My dad likes to go to this Bob Evans. He thinks the lunches are pretty good. I tried their unlimited soup, salad and bread. I wasn't impressed. The cheesy potato soup didn't see like real food. The dining area was a mess and badly needed sweeping and bussing. The service was friendly and even after I left my cell phone on the table, and called for it 30 minutes later, the employees made sure it was returned to me. We will be back to try to find something a bit fresher on the menu. The employees are 5 stars, but can't give more than three until the cleanliness and food improve.

We used to be regulars at this restaurant, but no longer. I can't believe the incredibly poor service customers get here now- there was one waitress and the manager running the whole thing both times we visited. Our order was filled incorrectly no less than 3 times, we were ignored, refills were not offered, and I swear our waitress was on drugs the second time. It's not surprising, as we have heard that this chain no longer hires employees full time to avoid paying benefits. I can't confirm this to be true, but it would explain a lot. Avoid this restaurant, you'll thank me later.

I always get the Farmer's Market Omelet, with side order of sausage links... and of course, you can't forget the coffee... Bob Evan's is the only place I know that serve Sanka coffee... and no, I'm not a fan of Sanka Coffee, but what else can I do? Bring my own?? I usually go on the weekends, so expect a long line... when you get in, make sure your get your name on the list... usually you'll get a table within 30 minutes. The service is great, never had an issue with service at this Bob Evans. They refill your cup quickly. Overall, I wish there was Bob Evans on this side of town... for sure I would go more often... give Bob Evans a try... if you like Sanka coffee... this is a must for you :)

I went here for breakfast in a pretty rural part of Ann Arbor. I grew up on Bob Evans, and I've always enjoyed their breakfast. I've grown to appreciate their lunch and dinner as well. The place wasn't that busy. For breakfast, I had some standard stuff--eggs, bacon, and sausage. Their sausage (patties or links) are from the Bob Evans farm, and they are pretty good. I think the sausage links are slightly better than the patties and go great with maple syrup. Bob Evans' signature dish is their sausage gravy over biscuits, and you just can't pass up on it when you are here. I've had similar dishes at other restaurants, but they are not as good. Some places have a white, milky gravy that is just bland. Others just taste like grease. But Bob Evans' sausage gravy has a nice consistent texture, it tastes great, and the biscuits are good. Prices here are very cheap, and service is always friendly.

Bob Evans is a midwestern chain, and as far as chains go, I think at the top of the heap. This particular restaurant was clean and the food good, although our young, and I think rather inexperienced server, was missing in action. Other employees delivered our food, and refilled our drinks, as they did for other tables in this station. Our waitress did show up, after we were done eating, to ask if everything was OK. Then, it was another wait to get the check we asked her for. Still, food and overall cleanliness was 4 stars, taking price into consideration, of course!

Never had been to a Bob Evans Restaurant before, but had known about the company as their stock is traded in NASDAQ. A group of us went in for breakfast, and we all found their restaurant to be good, service good, breakfast fine, overall fine. I had to try some Midwest biscuits for breakfast, and they were pretty good. We also had apple fries and fried cheese balls to take in the whole Midwest experience.

We like to go here with our 2 year old. The kids menu has a lot of choices that he will eat, including nutritious side options. Breakfast is always available which is a plus both for the adults and the kids. Generally was able to find a number of health conscious choices from the menu, and they were willing/able to make some changes to suit our tastes. Service has been hit or miss, but pretty standard for this type of restaurant.

Where else will you get those biscuits plus that post church feeling you are dying for after a night of binge drinking? OK, it's been a while since I've eaten there with a hang over but it is the spot to go when you need some down home cooking and can't be bothered to go to your own kitchen (and your ma's not close enough). I love Bob Evans. The price is right, the plates full and the folks real welcoming. Best waitress is Hannah, if she's still there. Overall: good food, good price and the vibes make you feel like your at grandmas.

My friend Kevin and I decided stop in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon around a month ago. We were told there was a 10 minute wait to clear some tables off. The first thing I realize is that 15, then 20 minutes had gone by. Meanwhile, the hostess at the FOH, started to seat customers that had come in after we did. We looked around in the restaurant and there was over a dozen tables that still needed to be turned that were dirty when we first came in. I have seen slow service before, but this is ridiculous. In the future, I will take my business to the Bob Evans Restaurant in nearby Canton. I have always had great food and service at that location.

I had the 3 course meal for $10.99...what a bargain! I had the turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. I had the vegetable soup and for dessert I chose an apple cinnamon sundae. I also received two biscuits. The portions were generous and everything was served fresh and hot. I ordered this to go. Going to chains like this is a hit or miss type of situation and I believe it is all based on who is managing the place. The managers and employees here hit it out of the ball-park...good job team.
